Classic game which recently just got re-released onto steam and updated to work on modern PC's

I had AVP Gold but I recently bought this for the hell of it, I don't even think gold would run on my PC now anyways xD

As you can see in these videos I don't like Xenomorphs sneaking behind me :(

They added new MP/Skirmish maps and new weapons including the Handguns.

U made a sort of speedrun, not walkthrough. Wanted more details, but you just run between switches shooting flares everywhere.

The new ones are much, much worse. The originals weren't exactly amazing but these new ones (I only had the original version of the game, not the gold, so they're new to me) are horrific. God knows what they were thinking.

Ignoring all that, though, AVP was one of the best games of the period, without a doubt, absolutely thrilling, it's just a shame that Rebellion kind of screwed up the new one. AVP2 was good, of course that was Monolith with their weird, weird Lithtech engine.

To everybody complaining over the video acting. The original videos from AvP1 are great. They just replaced them with shitty ones in the AvP 1 Gold version. I have no idea why they did this. It boggles the mind.

agreed with you, although the graphics update really do the series a favor, and the Multiplayer of AVP2 is really cool
