@YFNPAP3R3 I had one, a 98 with a five speed. Its a good daily driver, 200 horse so it wasn't terribly slow and got good mpgs. It was reliable I never had any problems with it even after 150K miles. If you want to go FAST though its not the best starting point. You'd have to dump 5 grand into it just to get it to hang with a stock z28.

nah. If you have what I think you have.... thats about right for acceleration, your setup is set for top speed, not acceleration. Just search for F-BodyHideout and you will find resources to help you make huge improvements to your FBody.

160MPH. With some engine left. Even the V6 version can do 155mph if it has some tweaks done to it. I know, because I have done it.
Depending on which configuration you have, any of them can go that fast. There must have been a 2.73 LSD with an A4 in that Car. Hence the slow pick up, but faster top end. There are lots of things you can do to help that top end acceleration. A good tune has a huge impact.
