Bradley Manning gets a day in court. We'll discuss what Manning has done and if this is someone who deserves to be faced with more than 30 charges, the most damning of which includes aiding the enemy, which carries the death penalty. Or if this is someone who is a hero and should get a medal for exposing what he has. Daniel Ellsberg, former U.S. military analyst who famously leaked the Pentagon Papers in 1971 weighs in.

nixon would like to have done to to mr.ellsberg what is being done to mr. manning but the united states had a rather more functional legal system then,as well as a more watchful press that didn't go along with the whims of the government.so he tried to smear him instead.to my mind both ellsberg and manning are heroes who will be treated as such by history.

Today is Manning's birthday. He wanted to start a world wide discussion. READ THE CABLES FOR YOURSELF. DISCUSS

I was actually referring to Bradley Manning here , not a Matthew Manning. And I believe that it´s possible that Bradley Manning could be fiction, make - believe. Despite the photo , etc.

if you look at the usual segment length, it seems like that was the cause for the ending of the interview, and not the topics. Though i agree it seemed the conversation was going somewhere interresting. I think it could deserve a special interview for 30-45 minutes instead of the usual 5-10.
