Layne's music was about, defined, inspired & created in part by his drug addiction, so comments recollections and stories about him are going to include what he was like then, & rightly so. We were deprived of much of AIC music because of his addiction in his life, & premature death. Given Layne was public about his drugs, & wrote most of the lyrics throughout his career about it so blatantly, it's not inconsiderate to discuss, & it's impossible to separate the music from the addiction.
