  • The announcer has his info wrong. The Army MH-60 is not a Pave Hawk. It's still a Black Hawk. Pave Hawks are Air Force HH-60G. Yea, pretty much the same helicopter, but the M models have a lot of newer stuff on the that are not on older models or variants of the H-60.

  • Just recently graduated the H-60 course at Ft. Eustis, VA. I crewchief on HH-60Gs. We got to see the one Mike model at the schoolhouse back at Eustis (this one didn't have a refueling probe). All digital instrumentation, new blades that don't require servicing, and the revised folding stabilator that most of the older models in the Army don't have. Lots of other little things, too, but I'm sure the info is a bit sensitive so I'll leave it at that.
