@PiggyDog89 Your comment, though factually accurate, in no way justifies this massive, unnecessary roundup, nor does it justify treating wild horses in this manner. It's like saying, God forbid, if a 13-year-old's parents were killed in an accident, "Well, she's old enough to cook for herself." Horses aren't people, but can you see how your comment fails to address the total devastation and trauma of the roundup and its repercussions.

@Sonialei77 And I'd also like to add that just because we don't ALL see it the same that doesn't mean that you have to come across as a junk yard dog and making everyone feel like they're wrong just because we don't all agree with you. We aren't there, we don't see everything you do and because of that these videos are open for debate. Close the comments if our opinions are so bothersome!

@painthorselover101 I think it's good you are passionate about something. Maybe you will be an advocate for change. I was like you in, at your age, in the way that I had no plans for kids. However years later I got one and she makes my world go around. Well her and my animals. Love them all. I can't imagine living a life without them in it. Go do great things painthorselover!

@sweetsipsy i'm 17, and unlike some girls my age i have no kids and have no plans to have kids. you have a point, but nothing about mustang blm roundups is natural or humane.

fight back, even if you had no formidable weapon? I would! And that doesn’t make me some sort of Hotshot, as you said. I would give my life to protect my daughter.

to probe for insects. Certain birds too.Dolphins developed sonar & Bats radar.Wolves & bears developed an incredible sense of smell & hawks and eagles their eye sight. They developed these things to be more efficient hunters just like our development of tools.Tools are an extension of the body. There are sentries of recorded history, were people have fought back with nothing but their determination, brains and physical body.Do you have kids? Wouldn’t you

have been cruel & are cruel. However, nature too is cruel.Wild dogs start eating their catch before it dies.Male lions kill the cubs of the previous ruler, when they take over the pride. Bears will kill the cubs too. Killer whales play with their food. Certain ants farm aphids. Bees have no will of their own, they are given an assignment & that is what they do for the rest of their life. Animals also have developed tools or use tools themselves.Apes use sticks to crush nuts & twigs

, our creativity and ingenuity started to show.We started to devise tools, perhaps by accident at first but non the less, tools. And we didnt always raise animals as we do now either. We were hunters and gatherers. We also didnt always use weapons.Humans ran herds off cliffs or into huge ditches & waited for them to die.Our body has changed as our brain has evolved. We dont need the body of a wild predator anymore because our tools have made it easier for us.I believe too easy.Yes humans

@painthorselover101 I think first I would like to understand your definition of the word predator. Do we not prey on other organisms? Do we not still hunt, kill & eat other animals? This is how I define a predator. Yes our teeth can’t kill or be used as a wolf, tiger, bear or ect., but we weren’t always built as we are now. I believe in evolution and that we evolved into the build we have now. As our brain became more sophisticated,
What is the point of this video? The cowboy's were extremely gentle with this foal. 99% of the time, the foal is abandoned due to the cost incurred in order to retrieve it. Choose your battles....

@chfar072281 Yes. thanks for asking. The point is awareness of roundups, educating the public, and what happens despite BLM's assurances that "mares are allowed to drop back with their foals." That's not the way it happens. One point is there are no parameters on distance horses can be run/chased. This baby is exhausted, which is why he fell behind. Some are orphaned, some are never found. I address my "points" in dialogue you can read in these comments. Feel free to email elysegardner@me.com
