Dorothea Röschmann is such a wonderful singer. Apart from her beautiful voice, what strikes me most about her is how totally committed she is to the music and the character she is portraying, no matter what she is singing. Una cantante muy especial.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I only started to listen to opera recently) but I find it amazing that she's a soprano and can hit some low notes like a mezzo.

@SnakePlissken2 Röschmann is a lyric soprano, a kind of voice with 'larger body', this includes a big range and a large voice that can extend to notes usually asociated with mezzos . Mozart composed quite a lot for these voice, listen for example 'Deh se piacer mi vuoi' from La Clemenza di Tito or 'Come scoglio' from Così fan tutte. However you can tell the difference between the color and easiness to low notes in a mezzo and a lyric soprano, which has a very different color and range.
