Officials use of Taser in such 'willing and sanctioned assaults' - as seen here - contribute to lowering the threshold of acceptability as to the circumstances for when it is appropriate that law enforcement utilise this tool.
Taser should only be used when violence or the threat of violence is such force is necessary and not for authority to exert over disobedience or non-compliance when it becomes an act of assault and torture.
