The super bag filled a bunch of tires. It is slow going, but shows a steady progress.

Remember - I own as I build!

Using all recycled & free materials is bonus. I do not know, any guesses at the R-value?

  • That's cool Russ, but what about bugs like mosqueetos and wasps getting in behind it all ? Or at the ground for snakes and scorpions ?

  • For the roof, you might just want to put a second layer to create shade. By the way, I had a brainstorm once to make a cabin out of 2 school buses. If you want to see it, you can go to recycled-bus-cabin-greenhouse.

  • It's looking good.

  • Please describe your motive, and calculations for this build... You have a lot of fans among us with big mortgages.. But please do a more "vivid" tutorial of the build, and the idea that you are realizing... For me it's really hard to see the point in the design. If you also could talk about different designs and ideas, that you've had... That would be wonderful.. Love your work. Please don't give up...

  • if you grind the foam you can use a shop vac to blow it into place behind your strapped out and covered space. What you don't have anything better to do with your time? I know I would.
