Прудковское еврейское кладбище в центре Гомеля превращается в свалку. Городские власти не имеют средств, чтобы привести его в порядок.
С этого понедельника, 22.11.2010, силами общины «Бейт Яаков» мы начинаем мероприятия по вырубке молодых деревьев и уборке мусора. Кладбище очень большое- порядка 10 тысяч могил, площадь- соизмерима 11 футбольным полям, и мы не справимся без Вашей помощи. Мы будем благодарны за любое пожертвование, направленное для поддержки этого проекта!

The Prudkovsky Jewish cemetery in the center of Gomel is turning into a trash dump. The city authorities have no resources (or desire) to put it in order.

Starting Monday, November 22, 2010, "Beit Yakov," the Gomel Jewish community, will begin the cemetery restoration process, starting with garbage cleaning and cutting down saplings. The Jewish cemetery is very big. There are roughly 10,000 graves there, in an area of 11 football fields. We won't be able tosolve the problem well without your support.
