Have I said anything negative about Thesaurus in any of my comments? No, I have just attacked the idea that punchlines are the most important thing in a freestyle battle. You can disagree with me but three judges who have been in the hip hop game for a long time disagree with you if you think Thesaurus took this.

@rapsody he is rapping, you not liking the way he raps is another thing, not relevant. thesaurus got bars, jokes, everything, hes a legend in the business. and still one of the top guys. You're suppose to destroy ur opponent, not just have a "nice flow" in a rap battle.

My point was that a freestyle battle has a lot of elements, punchlines only being one of them. A lot of people can come up with funny things to say about people, but if you need no rap skill to do it then where is the line between a rapper and a comedian drawn? I'm not calling Thesaurus a comedian or saying he has no skill.. but I think people sometimes forget that battles are supposed to be about RAPPING, not just telling jokes.
