The following is a scene from the Syrian-produced TV series Al-Shatat. Al-Shatat was first aired on Hizbullah's Al-Manar TV during the month of Ramadan 2003, and then on two Iranian channels during Ramadan 2004. Al-Mamnou' TV, a new Jordanian channel, is airing Al-Shatat during Ramadan 2005.

This is the most ridiculous, dumb and disgusting form of blood libel I have seen so far and it's hard to believe that this was shown on Syrian TV as recently as 2005! This went in line with stories of well poisoning and host desecration as a major theme for persecuting Jews! We aren't even allowed to eat the blood of an animal! What makes you think THIS story could possibly be true??

@Alex7BR Actually I must state that this lie of the Blood libel is traced back to Europe. I must also say that while this IS in fact TREMENDOUSLY disgusting in my eyes as an American my country does the same thing. Russians, Muslims, Witches (followers of Wicca), Arabs, and in very rare cases even Jews and Brazilians are heavily stereotyped and demonized in many movies, video games, and TV shows of the US.
