socialism means that the community (or govt in this case) would own capital, land, and means of production

but i see your point, there are some light aspects of "socialism" in our country, especially healthcare. post office, medicare, medicaid, etc

BUT, our nation is great not bc of the necessary social programs we already have, but our free market economy and principles of liberty

Clearly this is how most of America votes. No research, just sitting in front of the television being spoon fed. High School and College won't teach anything about this. Why? They are union employees. Keeping the public stupid and hateful works for them.. Just do some basic research. Think for yourselves. Don't let SNL or the media think for you. Ask questions, scrutinize answers. Sum it up: You are either for Big Government intrusion or less Government.intrusion. That simple.
