Segment 2 addresses trimming the cloth, finding the holes in the wood (either before or after gluing), and ironing the cloth to the wood. Also presented is information about some of the properties of hot animal hide glue as compared to other types of adhesives.

  • I agree, a great detailed description on how to do the job!

Do you have any videos showing how to rebuild action bellows? I am about to start to rebuild my player piano, and I think that a detailed video like this one will be absolutely helpful, from what's the best method to remove them from the stack to how to re cloth them correctly avoiding mistakes that might shorten the life of the restoration work.

I hope you can make this. Thanks in advance and congratulations for your great website!

  • Great videos, thanks.

I am restoring a Duo-Art and would like to see more videos about recovering bellows.

(striker, air motor etc) And any other subject reguarding player piano restoration.

Maybe a little closer to the bellows on the video.

    Thanks guys

    KWG
