Stanley Baxter, one of the most under-rated comedy geniuses of Glasgow and indeed Scotland in a sketch from his comic language series Parliamo Glasgow Which this time sees him at a Scottish Football match.
The brilliant sketches were a take on the traditionally dry language programmes made by the BBC such as Parliamo Italiano ("Let's speak Italian"). They showed well spoken English presenters cutting away from local conversations to explain the vernacular in wildly flowering terms and Part of the humour is the way the words are spelled, indicated in on screen captions which themselves went on to become bumper and window stickers.
@timgee9999 Baxter is one of my favorites, pity he retired. "TUMMEL-TINTY" makes an appearance in the classic "Gaunfurra Daunur" sketch otherwise known as the "Market Sketch" Where it is stated "RAPERORUM TUMMUL-TINTY BED"

Baxter has been one of the funniest men in comedy for the last thirty or forty years - the whole Parliamo Glasgow series is pure genius. Look up "Tummeltinty" some time... :-)
