I loved this cd from the moment I first heard it, & also felt ( as someone else mentioned here ) that it was Jimmy Page's finest work sans Plant. Sometimes there's just a synergy between musicians, & I think that was the case here: Page pulled the best out of David Coverdale, and vice-versa. Some folks have stated that DC sounds too much like Robert Plant here, but I think it's a subliminal thing, the effect of exchanging ideas w/ Page. What counts is the end result: Perfecto!

The problem with Kingdom Come is that it wasn't intelligent. This stuff is brilliant. Coverdale has his own great style, but certainly pays tribute to Plant here, brilliantly.
