Have you modified fuel/air mix or the maping ?
We have fitted a yoshi to one here in Oz and it has a flat spot low range !

I installed a o2 modifier along with a free flowing air filter. Cops don't seem to mind.

That's a steering dampner........not really, it's a oil filler cap that I gluded my key in.
