The death penalty is necessary whenever murder, rape, or some other life-sentence (or life-sentence-worthy) crime is committed. Why put them in for life when they just get free healthcare, free food, don't work, get to lounge around with bad***es, and suck tax money? Either way, they're gonna die in prison...

@MyCorey420 A civilized and organized society cannot work with the criminal mind of a murderer. Murderers may play dirty, but society must be clean.

@Sleeko11 I'm under the impression that the legal procedure for death penalty is much lengthier so it is more costly, so more expensive. As for deterrence, most murderers hold the belief that they will not be caught. As proof of the ineffectiveness, look at Canada: no death penalty, much less crime.
