Zoltan Solomon:
I dont know anything about Zoltan at all except that he is currently recording some excellent material and has just released this wonderful E.P on the ZeECc label. His work is being praised by the likes of Bvdub, Quantec and Biodub to name a few.

ZeECc:
is an online platform where you can legally download musical files. This platform is dedicated to electronic music and specially deep-techno, dub-techno and IDM. ZeECc is a simplified French limited company incorporated as an auto-entreprise (details and administrative information are available on the ZeECc Contact page). ZeECc sells musical files from artist under a creative commons license.

E.P Review:
This is the fifteenth release on ZeECc. 'Heather Country' comes from another mysterious artist based in the East. Zoltan Solomon delivers his first EP here with 4 furious and dynamic tracks. It's possible to think that it's just a techno sound, but a more attentive listen reveals the subtleties and effectiveness of this perfect compromise between pure energy and mental control.
Heather Country' starts slowly before to become a loud and compressed adventure, coloured with kneaded sounds. Sometimes almost stopping, this track comes back again and again to take you in a powerful groove. 'Thoth' is developed around some metallic chords, which intertwine in a ritual dance. A nice way to pay tribute to this Egyptian deity of wisdom, art and science.
'Nibiru' takes us on a progressive travel through the interstellar darkness, toward this mythical planet, which appeared in the beginning of humanity and would put an end to it. Which bring us to conclude this release with a 'Rehab' , another hypnotic moment.
