Where's George Tribute - Original Song and Stolen Video

Back at the (2008) President's Day Applebee's Gathering, HANK mentioned a new WG? video that had been circulating on YouTube. I was excited to see it when I got home and I LOVED IT! After viewing it a few times and freezing on a few shots (after all, not only was I in the video, but I had taken some of the pictures) I wanted to view it slower. Since we have to technology, and in more than one of the posts it was 'wished', I figured I could recreate it. Some time ago someone (PETE?) created a WG? song and had asked me to 'do something' with it I figured the two would go together great.

The other day, twice I heard the song that the video uses on the radio. I never got around to posting the video because I wanted to ask the permission of the original video maker. I still never did, but somehow, I don't think he'll mind. I had to get it under 10 min. so there was a little editing. I didn't cut anything out, other than some of the leading lines.

Extra points if you can name the title and artist of the second song. The third song will give you help as to the artist (it's the same one).

Thanks to all of the Georgers, Pete for the WG? song, the original video maker (TrackWalker?), and of course HANK!

You have to remember, I didn't produce the video, I just slowed it down. I'm betting it's an avatar. As for the second question, neither of those two bands, although the era is correct. Keep guessing! LOL

I stumbled upon this video from a link in a profile for a bill I hit on. Imagine my surprise to see myself in the video! While I was living in Mississippi, I was the #1 Georger for a few years and attended a WG Gathering. I'd even organized a Gathering in Meridian, but hurricane Ivan cancelled that event. :-( Now in Florida as #24 but still Georgin'. My WG profile name is DonAlan. Thank for the video!
