Left as a paraplegic after a car accident in 1986, Michael Richardson's first therapeutic horseback-riding lesson steeled his determination to lead an active, optimistic life as a horseman, clinician and motivational speaker. Michael's injury and experience has placed him in a distinguished position to communicate a message of perseverance and hope to anyone who faces challenges in their life. Whether profound physical challenges as Michael has faced or more familiar trials such as losing a job, his message reaches out to us all. He has the personal experience and inspirational qualities, as well as the horsemanship talent, that set him apart from others.

  • Way to go Michael and Tiffany - keep up the great work.

  • Inspiring speaker and horseman. I just learned of his current situation from a local trail riding group about even more trials he has had to endure. See other comment.

Youtube won't let me put the URL, but if you Google his name "Michael Richardson horseman" then you can find his webpage. They have a donation option for expenses, if anyone out there is able or would like to help them.

  • @CowboyPenner He was in another auto accident in 2006, then bitten by a brown recluse spider and been in medical care unable to work for nearly 2 years. He hopes to get back in the saddle with help from family and friends.

  • I'd love to see more vids of you riding and workin' in the round pen with horses. I do western gaming with my horse and I use a homebuilt backrest that's attached to my saddle. My guy Casper has me pretty figured out and we get along well but we're workin' on refining what and how we do it.
