I AGREE with alterman156. I am 35 and still have not gotten my surgeries done with my cleft because I cannot afford the 135,000 surgeries. I am so sick of this countries health care system. But, what can I say? Being an American is so great isn't it? After all, our wonderful doctors will go down to Honduras and do this surgery from FREE, but when it comes to helping anyone in the US, NO WAY. What a joke this place is. 700 Billion to bail out the stock market? But nothing to help with H.Care

earthlvr, there is NOTHING that the U.S. Government can do to prevent U.S. businesses from packing up and moving to another country. It's a free world market. If a foreign country invites you and your business over, then you're welcome to go. Would it make you happier if those U.S. businesses were completely bought out by foreigners?

No one should have to go through the first 50 years life with an unrepaired cleft palate. The man should have been able to have it repaired when he was an infant. The health care system should be set up so that such a repair is paid for when the person is an infant so that they can function like a normal person. A cleft palate repair a generally a simple and worthwhile procedure and it can make a big difference in someone's life.

Edwards isn't taking a dime from corporate lobbyists or PACs. He's the only one talking about the foreign lobbyists influencing our govt. for bad trade deals sending more jobs to other countries, and the tax system, which allows corporations to set up headquarters in other countries (like Halliburton in Dubai) and not pay taxes here, which puts the burden on you!

Most you average people out there, you know life sucks BAD with Bush, in comparison to how things were, let's get them out.
-
All of my family are, and were poor conservative people from the south. I am very conservative about many things. Bush and the word conservative are antonyms. Even the hard core conservatives are sick of Bush. You sound like a dead ender, you'll go down with the ship, and try to take us all with you, before you swallow some pride.

First of all, I just posted a nice comment towards you, on your profile. Second, I am a moderate, in the middle, reasonable, you might try it. You can live without having to be scared shitless of having a vehicle break down, keeping you from going to college classes and work. Once again, the approval rating is due to the fact, they said they were going to get the troops home, and Bush has given that no hope. You live in the land of the pampered.

I've given you solid information...some of it first hand. The pain in the asses are the left-looney liberals. Just take a look at the Democratic Congress (like the rest of the country has). Their approval rating shows what ppl think & you idiot liberals just may have lost your 1st chance in 8 years to obtain the whitehouse. People are sick of being taxed to death...wealthy & other-wise. Let's not even begin to talk about the lack of morals possessed by the dems.

Almost ALL of the palnet knows he, and the Republicans are pains in the ass for the world, us average people certainly included.
Deepak Chopra once spoke eloquently on how one's life can change when you move from a "What's in it for me?" to a "How can I help?" orientation, or basic question. John Edwards is the exemplar of a "How can I help?" mind and heartset.
To help the many who need help, we need to ask: How can I help John Edwards?
Please give your full-throated support to the Champion of the People, John Edwards. I have and will...

Mr. Lowe I have the deepest respect for you. After not being talk for 50 years and going from that to talking in front of a massive crowd, takes some serious courage. Bravo.
