  • PASS IT ON BROTHER NASH...THIS "GOSPEL" MUSIC TODAY HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GOSPEL, PERIOD... THEY SAY WE HAVE TO KEEP UP WITH THE TIMES TO DRAW YOUNG PEOPLE. THAT'S A BUNCH OF CRAP. JESUS SAID "IF I BE LIFTED UP, "I'LL" DRAW ALL MEN UNTO ME". HE DIDN'T TELL "YOU" TO DRAW! I WAS 11 IN 1969, AND IT WAS THE "WORD" THAT COMPELLED ME, NOT KEEPING UP WITH THE TIMES! IF WE HOLD FAST TO OUR HISTORY, WE WON'T LOSE THE MEANING OF WHAT WE'RE SINGING ABOUT...

  • Wow, I have heard a lot about Nash.

  • It was good to see see Brother Nash is maintaining the true blood of gospel music. With the arrival of this new form of gospel, which I feel does not fully give reverence to God as songs prior to the 1980s, the real church music must be remembered. Hearing Nash run through the names of those who came before us to pave the way in gospel music brought back memories. Yes, we have a mandate to maintain our culture in black gospel music and I'm doing all I can to keep it alive by telling the story.
