Most people don't realize what a luxury it is to have a toothbrush, toothpaste, and clean water from the tap to brush your teeth with. Such a simple thing yet such an important part of our daily life. Many people on this planet have never known such a luxury and never will. And some day, possibly, we might not either. So be grateful for all these small things. Because the truth is, this planet is expensive to run. Very expensive.

We must rethink everything associated with oil.Conservation is something we all can do,but it isn't enough.I heard something interesting a while back from a engineer talking about rethinking how we travel.He asked the question do we need a two ton vehicle to move one person.Don't know the answer but it is a interesting thought.

hey, you might be interested, i saw a website talking about hemp plastic. apparently they can use hemp oil to make plastics, and they are biodegradable. i dont know how long it takes, but compared to fossil feul, it has to be better.
