@DiabolicalMinds Yes thank you. All my lessons and the syllabus were around long before he was a star and I am just bringing them all online for everyone - really nothing to do with him anyway. He just did all the scales and exercises and completed the whole thing (only a handful of people have) and worked harder at it than anyone else period. This was a huge course and it was done over many years - long before he went out and started checking out the rest of the world. Thats all I can say

@pebberbrown I've been watching some of your live stuff and you certainly can get cranking as you say, some very nice playing. I'm hoping that in a few decades my evolution will include being able to play by telekanesis so I wont have to use any of my digits at all haha. Cheers Pebber and keep up the great teaching.

I don't like playing fast on some levels. Usually it's just a scale going up and down, very few can actually get the playing right without sounding robotic. All these Guinness World Record holders and braggers have zero anything going on behind the scenes other than scales. The only person I know that can come close to being worlds fastest and sounding good with nice note usage is Shawn Lane.

Hi Pebber, I like your vids a lot but I just arrived at this one straight after your thumb behind the neck video and I've got to ask - What on earth is your thumb doing between 2.30 and 2.40?.....to quote a great guitar teacher I know of "DUDE, just do it, put the the thumb at the back of the neck, just do it DUDE"

@MalinariTheMind Oh yeah ha ha - I have spent so many decades playing with the thumb behind the neck it has evolved beyond that - in fact these days my thumb rarely touches anything - Its a lot more freedom for me but it takes a LONG time to get comfortable with it. Good job on noticing that. If you check my live performnace videos when I really get cranking my thumb just glides on the side like this.. its just my evolution.....
