  • I went to Costa Rica for a tummy tuck and dental work. A very good experience. In the U.S. I had two C sections. Almost died from staph infection in the first, which I realize now was an unnecessary operation. In the last 5 yrs, I know of 3 deaths from either staph or complications in US hospitals. I now live in Europe and know that US hospitals and medical care is a risk.
