Challenging--but not impossible (my club mitts worked their way around the tune, didn't they?)
Again, Butch Robins and Bob Black blazed the trail for picking Monroe tunes and my arrangement--including dropping the banjo into Gminor tuning--comes from hanging around Butch. I'm just trying to capture the soul of Monroe (since I'm also a mandolinist) while using Butch as inspiration.
