a few different versions, and some editing.

1: flyby
2: colors, tracking mouse position.
3: accelerating hue shifting
4: 4 lights shifting hue and increasing hue offset.
5: gentle strobe

  • Yeah - like it! is it done with boids?

  • never heard of 'boids' until i googled it just now; no, but that looks damn cool.

  • @vynl Pmpd then? Yeah boids is easy and shows good results. Lib chaos too. So how did you?

  • i did it with audio signals:

i'm running 3 channels of audio noise, lopwassed at something crazy low like .01 hz then scaled back up controlling the X, Y and Z position of the center orb, then I have that moved a set distance away from the center and rotated a constantly incremented amount in each plane, then re-lowpassed different amounts depending on their size to make them 'lag'.
