  • That's some awesome gajda jamming in the zenski tanc :D

  • Do you have this kind of dance with clicking wooden spoons in Serbia?

  • mmmmm.... the only dance with spoons I was aware of was a dance up in Slovakiq, but it's was a men's dance. Do they click spoons in the dance in this video? I thought it was a dajre.

  • Yes, they are holding two wooden spoons in each hand and are making this clicking sound :)

Being folklore dancer by myself (Serbian folk dances) my personal oppinion is thet Bulgarians are the most talented for the dance among Balkan nations!

Dear Mariana, thank you for you nice post. It is true. I just love Bulgarian culture. My best wishes to you!

  • @Firewalkerbg

Thank you very much for the answer! I really appreciate that. Do you maybe know the name of the dance? I love it really. Great voices and great performance!

Well...as I was younger I was thinking to come to Bulgaria to study coreography... ;-) but that old dream never came true. Nevertheless I really enjoy our (Balkan) dances! Greetings to all Balkans!

  • @srkibiochem Thank you so much for the nice words! That's very sweet of you! I was raced in a family where everybody loved Serbian music (pop-folk songs). I love your songs, your language, it is so pretty! I think that we all are brothers and should behave like ones. But I have never heard sweeter words than yours about our folk dancers and our folk! Thank you! Hvala!

  • @srkibiochem Nope, the women dance is based on the dance folklore from Eastern Thrace.

I as a choreographer usually say that all the Balkan folklore dances are good and all the Balkan people are talented when it comes to dance. However our contemporary choreographers seem to be better in preserving and forging the folklore material into a stage performance. :)

  • АЗ СИ МИСДЛЯ,ЧЕ НЕ СИ БГ С ТАЗИ ЛАТИНИЦА

  • super,super

  • well, yes. A big part of it it is. Thats what left from the Anciant Thrakians - the spirit. They left us something, but we have to keep and save it, think about it. Maybe thats why they didnt use wirrten language (do you really think they couldnt make one, with all this unique and fantastic stuff they made) Maybe they had something that noone else had, and we have to save it, and give it to your children, think about it.

  • dobra-super-pozdrav iz Srbije
