Well, I see you are musician too. Who'd think we enjoy Bing, or Perry and like what you or I play too? I watched a couple of your blues videos; I'd love to have been playing bass with you. Well, at least you admit making mistakes; so many of us can't seem to EVER acknowledge we've EVER done anything wrong. I have to shake my head in amazement sometimes when I hear people say -If you had it all to do over -would you do anything different? And their answer- NO-, not one thing. That sounds an awful lot to me as though they never made any mistakes.

those were the days when.....we can stop a little girl in the street and tell her she was pretty without appearing to be a pervert.....nasty stuff was not found in the food and we werent scared to eat....people when to church and came out happy and ready to start a good week...,.love scenes in the movies were done with taste....adults and teenagers dressed impeccably....wowowow how can you not be nostalgic

@grossdc2 you aren't the only one-- me too- in more ways than I'd care to count. But you know something-- God is in the business of giving new beginnings. It's amazing how well He can do that, but He does have a way of making something beautiful out of us in spite of mistakes. I 'm thankful for His mercy. Jesus paid for our painful mistakes on the cross. All that He suffered was to make something beautiful out of us in spite of all the ways we messed up.

Yes, it really is true,, I remember when I just a little boy, in the late 50's and early 60's, we almost never locked our door? That's a fact? When people tell me, "Sal life's always been tough, you're memories are fantasies!" I tell them, "oh yeah?" "Try keaving your front door unlocked today,, ok?" "Oh NO! We can't do that!" Well, I WAS ABLE TO DO JUST THAT, SO, WHO'S FANTASIZING?"
