Rare footage of the early beginnings of Newport Film School has been unearthed.

This short film, shot in 1966, shows some of the first film students filming and editing at the Fair Oak Annex (Newport Art College). The students are shooting 16mm film with a Beaulieu camera. The young lecturer overseeing events is ex-BBC editor, Harley Jones co-founder of the Film Unit at Newport.
