You are equally safe on both rides, in fact, KK shouldn't have had OTSR's but I believe state regulations required it to. I went on both this summer and think TTD is better.

Kingda Ka is not a copy of TTD, Kingda Ka is an IMPROVEMENT of TTD. please get your facts straight. They were both designed by Werner Stengel and manufactured and built by Intamin AG. its kind of hard to steal something of your own creation.
