I actually thought the Beach was pretty great. I think Leonardo had alot of backlash after the success of Titanic...and he had yet to win people over with his acting...so it was that in-between stage where people were unsure about him. But, the movie itself is quite cool.

As someone who loves Trainspotting, I don't think making a sequel would hurt the movie. Even if they made the sequel and it sucked, which is very possible as is the curse with sequels, it is impossible to hurt trainspotting, it is so untouchable. I think a sequel would be interesting though, as long as the original team would come together, but seeing as Ewan doesn't want to, they can't possibly replace Renton, It just wouldn't be right.Too bad, I'd love to see an aged Sick Boy and Renton.
