Lets Play: DOSBoX: World of Xeen - 18: To the Witch's Tower...

My Nineth LP ever! World of Xeen is the combonation of Might & Magic IV: Clouds of Xeen and Might & Magic V: Darkside of Xeen that was released in the early 90's. This is the orignal Dos CD version ran through and recording in DOSBox Version 0.74.

World of Xeen is the pinicale of the Might & Magic Series, not only is it the huge conclusion of the ongoing backstory through-out all the pervious games its also quite groundbreaking in the idea of having two games be inter-connected and form a third acutall game by doing so. It gave the users the first real impression in a pc rpg they were acutally having an important effect in the fantasy world setting they were playing in. Might & Magic went on to create 3 popular sequals witch although didn't exactly continue the orignal story completed here, but expanded on a lot of the 'universe' the players know and love. This Might & Magic is not the first I played but the first I really got into, the SVGA graphics and sound were top notch and just beatifull to watch even for today. The CD version added acutall speech into the game for nearly all NPC interactions using the CD AUDIO/programing feature to acomplish it. I have finshed this game soooo many times and always find myself pulling it off the old shelf to play it again, now you get to come along for the ride!

The video is pretty sound, however since it is DOSBox some glitches could occur particlaury in the sound clipping, also due to recording levels volume may change from videos to videos.
