Makes sense that there would be a global government as technology improves for transportation and communication. The issue is what kind of government will we create. And this will leave fewer options for those who seek something different in a government, and places to go. Although before that, it will be consolidations of governments for improvements of societies. I am hopeful that in the mean time and during the process of consolidations.. that societies evolve and become better.

i think you are right on the money, but i dont think its american culture thats to blame. more like our government's foreign policy. its really too bad that most of the world seems to think normal citizens of the US are responsible for these things, and want them to happen. the reality is, these decisions are made by old rich men in washington with little regard to what the average american citizen thinks or wants. however, we are not alone in this problem. it happens all over the world.
