Weinstein Hall was a place I knew all too well. Besides the fact, I was on the top floor, my room located right next to the door to the rooftop Joe had taken me too, he lived in this dormatory aswell. In fact, what I assumed was still his room, was right next to Alex's.

So far, college was pretty much as ironic as Emeril from the food network.

Joe's P.O.V

Sitting through a boring lecture on vegetable reproduction, wasn't exactly an exciting thing to get what I had just seen off my mind. It's not as if the vegetables had sex, because if they did I might actually pay attention.

The thought of a cucumber and potatoe during intercourse sounds pretty funny.

But even trying to imagine an x-rated veggie tales, didn't distract me enough. And that's what I needed... A distraction. And I knew just the girl that could distract me from my thoughts. But she is what got me into trouble in the first place.

Selena's P.O.V

Dear New York University, you are not a heartwarming movie on the Hallmark Channel... So why did you 'reunite' me and my sister by putting us in the same dorm room?

I wrote this letter to the admin in my head, as I looked at Vanessa shocked. When I cleared my throat so the girl unpacking her clothes into one of the dressers would turn around, I expected to see a stranger, not her.

She stood there, looking like she didn't know if she wanted to hug me of punch me in the throat. She hadn't talked to me for two years, after we got back from New York with mom and dad. Apparently, it was my fault that our parents found us. So whatever wonderful relationship we used to have, was diminished.

Last time I heard from her, she had given my parents another chance to say 'I told you so' when she broke up with Zac. I felt an all too familiar salty taste in the back of my throat, and I knew I wanted to cry right now. I stood there, trying to supress an emotionless expression.

Neither of us spoke. It's not like I can just say "Hi Nessa. The past year's been sticky. But how are you? By the way nice sheets."

So instead I set down my bags and played with my hands, going for the awkward approach "Hi"

She straightened the beanie sitting loosly on the top of her head "Hey Selena..."

"Can I hug you Nessa?"

And with that she held out her arms and I hugged my sister who had been on this journey with me the first time.

Because somethings just never change.
