Gov Blago is the 1st Gov in 20+ years to be impeached and booted from office. He is the first Illinois Gov to be impeached. While I do not condone what Blago has done, imagine if everyone in office had their private conversions recorded. There wouldn't be anyone left to run the country... Noone in office is without blemish....It's just a question of not being caught...Simple as that...

I can barely type because I've been so sad and angry since I heard Blago has been removed by the short-sighted jackasses of the Illinois Senate. Blagojevich is an American hero who deserves a medal for his services to Illinois and its people. I would compare his betrayal by the state senate to Benedict Arnold or even Pontius Pilate.

I am not a democrat. I don't agree with most democrats on anything, but I don't think it was right to remove him from office until he was actually CONVICTED of SOMETHING. There are bigger criminals in the Obama administration...

Second, there was a warrant in place ahead of that. Third, impeachment is not epidemic here. Fourth, I've seen many attempts at such in my life, including Nixon's.
