BBC2 Morris Ident

BBC Broadcast (now Red Bee Media) was commissioned by BBC TWO to design and create new identities for the channel's amusing number 2 on-screen idents. Morris dancing 2s were first seen on-screen over the May Bank Holiday weekend (2005) and are now part of several rotating idents used throughout the day in BBC TWO's programme junctions.

its quirky but didn't the BBC ever thought that this BBC2 ident could've clashed with BBC1's dancers idents? becuase with 1991-2001 idents they removed the "2" balloon ident to prevent clash with BBC1's balloon

My favourite of the yellow 2s! Is it just me or does that guitar (0:12 to 0:24) sound a bit like Mike Oldfield??
