Dr. Todd Fladen inserts a foldable intraocular contact lens (ICL, Staar Surgical)into a near sighted myopic patient. This procedure is ideal for a patient who either is not a good candidate for lasik as determined by an experienced lasik surgeon or perfers not to have laser vision correction surgery due to fears of lasik flap or wavefront surface laser ablation.
