@guitarman2116 how are tachs "ricer" have you ever seen a drag car?
-
Gee... I wonder if its fast...

Nice car, my 73 year old grandfather has the same car with a gold and black paint scheme, stock gages pretty much fully restored. Badass car for sure.
-
that looks purely unholy!
I love it!

@thantalas68 who cares. Enough about you

It idles fine once warmed up. Nothing stock to it anymore and the next motor probably won't idle below 1200. Just saving my pennies to finish the last pieces on 351X

It is a Stewart Warner memory tach. Nothing ricey about it. The dash is gone replaced by an aluminum panel form HRP. Original dash and wiring weighed about 80 lbs and being a track car it didn't need it nor would it fit with the cage installed. Blue knob is the brake bias.

how can u tell from 351 m to a 351 c
grizzlywintergreen16 2 years ago
The M is a lot bigger/taller and there are some block differences you can see on the outside. The M also shares a 429/460 bellhousing pattern. The 351C has the same one as a 302 or 351W. There are other cues I can't recall at the moment. The obvious ones would be to look at the casting number near the starter on the side of the block as well.
