  • @SuperJohnnykay You're totally right. She really feels the music so that's why she "acts with the voice". You might hear many other performances (even with countertenors) but they just sing what the score says and don't add that personal touch like her.

    I'll upload another Petibon performance soon. Thanks for watching. :D

  • @Snutih :Sorry you feel this way.This is an extremely beautiful and well-structured CD.One of the finest !A collection of Sartorio,Stradella,Haendel,Sca­rlatti, Porpora,Vivaldi and Marcello with the impeccable arrangements of the Venice Baroque Orchestra. After hearing Lascia by Petibon, you cant listen to anyone elses.

  • She can't help making a circus out of everything she sings... she's so worried about appearing quirky and "original"(how many times have I seen this type of act though? yawn...)... It gets very tedious with time and in this case it s particularly awful .
