@parad0x18 Because the new VDJ 7.0.4 is mightier than every other software... i can programm my own plugins, i have a script language... so e.g. i can programm a script, that sets the effect on deck one off and resets all settings of that effect when track on deck one stops
and i also can control my dmx lights with vdj... i can use every midi controller (taklin about keyboards etc) and programm it for full controll on every effect and effect parameter

why do you guys all want to run that insane controller on vdj?? it's like buying an 60" FullHD LED-TV and watch your films recorded on vhs...
-
can u use virtual dj on that too ?
-
@baberuth2old A midi controller is a device which converts the actions u do on the controller to digital signals on your computer.

750-900 €

who much does this costs?(vestax vci 300)
-
why do they call it midi controller when there is no midi IN/OUT? they should call it usb controller...
but the vestax vci-300 is the shit,... but the fx sold separately, the vfx-1.
-
thanks bro, never really thought of it that way but you are completely right.

Ok synthesizers make actual sound. Midi controllers make midi data. Midi data is a standardized data language for music making. So when you hit a c on a midi controller keyboard the midi data for c gets sent to your computer and entered into whatever program your using. This uses midi data to work with a DJ program. Think of it like an xbox controller for music.
Would love if Virtual DJ supported this, then I'm totally in for one.
