In 10 episodes here on YouTube Dr. Harding lead you into a new understanding of our beloved mother Earth. Earth, or Gaia as he prefers to say, needs to be taken care of now. The human rase is about to amuse itself to death on how we exploit the resources.

Inspired by James Lovelock (1919 - ) who is a pioneer and rolemodel in this field. He is an independent scientist, author, researcher, environmentalist, and futurist. He is known for proposing the Gaia hypothesis, in which he postulates that the Earth functions as a kind of superorganism.

This qoute from the great philosopher says it all: "All life has intrinsic value, irrespective of its value to humans" - Arne Naess, (1912 - 2009) RIP

Arne Næss was the founder of deep ecology. He is widely regarded as the foremost Norwegian philosopher of the 20th century

Dr. Harding is bringing it all together!

After summarizing the increasingly serious environmental problems and threats we're facing now all over the world, Dr. Harding says (2:40): "If you don't get depressed, you need to see a therapist on this issue; there's something wrong with you, if you don't get depressed about this. You need help to work out, why you're not depressed." He's the first person I've ever heard to say this in public. Thanks to Mr. Harding for his honesty and courage! Hope people will listen to him.

Exactly. Our consumption rates affect our carrying capacity and how many people the Earth can sustainably support.

Over-consumption is the problem. Some of the most "over-populated" places on Earth do not have as big a carbon foot-print as does some other places, such as the United States.

hydrocarbons has deep origin but biogenic origin also. we have evidences for both and there is no need to maniplaute it with abiogenic origin of petroleum. it is a valid evidence of Gaia hypothesis.

Anthropocentric, authoritarian humans , once adapted to the ancient world are now maladapted to a world of technology that amplifies their greed, wast, and ecosystems neglegence. The withdrawel of the creative minority from the herd and into their own intentional community that expresses ecosystem competence, is an instance of punctuated - equilibrium that persues the adaptive evolution of a new specie and a new integration with Gaia.
