I think Old Town had ropes labels as early as '54. This came out in '55 according to Osborne. Definitely was pressed in the same place that did Old Town, Atlas and many other NY labels in the early / mid 50s

I would love to have seen these guys perform. I can imagine a smoky NYC blues club with all kinds of crazy shit going on
is there a newer version of this song? I feel like I've heard this before only a newer version.
