@FirearmsFreak thats a very good point, If EHM came to a city to help a family just imagine what the press and media would do to a city if the inspectors and officals took weeks to get off their asses to come out and ok everything.. EHM has media power on their side, but still the crew must be working around the clock to get those homes done in that amount of time.

@ClassicRockfan79 I get what you're saying, but remember... money solves a multitude of issues! :) Officials talk about "set in stone" and "absolutely can't do anything without the permit", but when push comes to shove, there will always be exceptions made. And not only the money, but the PR. No city would want the PR nightmare of them being the ones that stopped EHM or helping of this family because they wouldn't work w/ people on permits. Just got to remember that this isn't a normal thing

i just dont feel that things on this show actually happen the way it seems, These guys are tearing down worn out old houses and building new five hundred thousand dollar homes to replace them within a week or two? it just cant happen that fast, you have to get the ok from city zone laws, a local bulding inspector, electrical and plumbing inspector it can take weeks to get those inspectors to come out and ok stuff, plus not to mention all that work, it could take up to three months to do all that
