Sensational value for money. A good choice for a beginner stepping up from co-axials to single rotor fixed pitch RC Helicopters. Only difference between a V1 and V2 Solo Pro is the color. Otherwise identical.
The V1 and V2's come with Nine Eagles excellent Transmitter which gives a LCD display of Trim Settings and Battery Level. Also has capability to charge a LiPo while you fly! With just undoing two screws and flipping over the antenna you can change from Mode 1 to Mode 2. Brilliant! (I have an E-Flite 120 SR and an MSR. IMHO it is no contest as to which company provides the best standard Transmitter).

  • the batteries are very sensitive if u leave it on charge for too long it will 'explode' the battery expands and starts to smell

  • @jarinj1 I have only used Nine Eagles batteries and the Nine Eagles charger with this helicopter. So far I have not encountered this problem. However if the batteries are not used regularly I find they 'die' and need to be replaced.

  • i have one of those. it's ok for the price . performance is a bit cheezy. but it is great for stick time and getting your orientations right.

  • @sicroly Yes, it is a great heli for learning orientations & getting some stick time. More 'quirky' to fly than a mSR Blade...for example they tend to pull to the side on take off & don't pirouette as smoothly as some other heli's. However you will 'learn' a lot from a Solo Pro V2. They are robust too, but if you have to repair them the parts are quite reasonably priced.

Solo Pros perform well in a Sports Hall where their speed and fast change of direction can be used to the max.

  • @DirkME1022 The title is similar to this one, but without the avi on the end.

    Nine Eagles Solo Pro V2

Hope that video is what you are looking for. Both the Nine Eagles Solo Pro V's and the mSR make great indoor helicopters where there is not an abundance of space.

  • @Helirazor1 If you could help me out what title would be the best to check out maneuverability? I will defiantly check the tank videos too, but can't do everything tonight ;-)

  • @DirkME1022 If you check out my Channel you will find more videos of Solo Pro V's. One video in particular gives a good demonstration of the manoeuvrability of this great little helicopter in a fairly confined room.

You will also see other videos of my Solo Pro's flying in an Indoor Sports Center.

I guess to summarise: these are an excellent helicopter even in a relatively small living room. They have dual rates, beginner & advanced. The helicopter is quite durable.

  • Would be great seeing flying around a little more to get a feeling for the space this one needs to fly indoors ;-) Thanks for sharing
