Mississippi River Flooding - Saint Paul, MN 3/17/10

The River at 10.15 feet roughly, short of flood stage but on its way to "major" flooding which at the time of the upload expected to crest at 19.8 feet. This expected rise would flood Harriet Island, Raspberry Island, Warner/Shepard Road, Lilydale and other areas. Chunks of ice were floating down the river and some of it became jammed on the local rail lift bridge.
