I've overlaid the "Jane Eyre Overture" onto the opening credits rather than play out the main theme as I think this is the stronger piece of music. This was a TV-Movie adaptation directed by Delbert Mann and starring George C Scott and Susannah York.

It is a good idea to read and understand a comment before replying.

  • @Valdez244 BUT what does GOD need with a star ship? WHY would John Williams compose a BOMBASTIC SCORE for a delicate film like Jane Eyre...????

    John Williams didn't compose a bombastic score to Schindler's List..did he? A.I.?????

  • This is the most beautiful piece of music I've ever heard.

  • One of William`s best scores , written long before the bombastic fare for which he is currently known. Nice one Steve.
