@kenteles Yes well it's certainly true that in historical terms Britain was a very destructive colonial power that laid the groundwork for much of the conflict we have in the world today. However in practical terms, Iran now represents a far more destructive element and as such presents a very real threat that we have no option but to address.

Poor old Chomsky, I know he's a bit of a has-been, but good god the level of intellectual ability shown by his supporters seems to have reached an all time low. Lets hope for Chomsky's sake that the comments left on these pages are not wholly representative of his current following. I particularly like the "Chomsky is awesome" comment - that got 12 votes!! and then of course there's 'amareto35' HOLY SHIT! :)

@amareto35 Oh what a SIMPLETON you are! So you have replied once again only to reiterate your inability to come up with any kind of viable argument. This Guy (yes Mr.Chomsky) is well known. The other guy (Mr. Hitchens) is a well known author and commentator known throughout the world - yes even here in the UK!

Perhaps in the future you might attempt to address the subject (that would be interesting LOL!) instead of making pathetic insults. That way you might not get shot down quite so easily!

@moovershaker Don't you see who you listen to ? "Christopher Hitchens".. out of all people,common..This Guy (Mr. Chomsky) is a scholar , and is WELL known AROUND the globe not only in the US. You already told me your I Q , why would I waste my time arguing with you ?
