I purchased a clip-on thermal from Jim Santana at SPI over a year ago. While standard night vision is great, these thermals are awesome! The ability to clip on a thermal in front of your day scope, without re-zeroing the weapon, is a huge plus. The unit I bought is so clear and sensitive that I can see a field mouse from 100 yds at night and a coyote from over 600 yds away. As a police officer, I use it as a hand-held to look for suspects in the dark. These units are the ulitmate advantage!
